Join the IASAQ Volunteer Team!
We’re passionate about growing our volunteer program within the Irish and Irish Australian community, and we couldn’t do it without you! Our volunteer team has expanded in recent years, but we’re always looking for more people to help us support the community.
How you can get involved
Volunteering with IASAQ is a rewarding way to give back while building meaningful connections. Opportunities include:
- Hosting our Just a Little Older (JALO’s) Seniors’ Group.
- Providing transport every second Tuesday for activities & every Friday for our Knit and Natter Group.
- Supporting the IASAQ Parents’ Group.
- Assisting with IASAQ Events, including our annual Charity Ball and Corporate Golf Day.
- Befriending visits and community support services.
- Helping with admin tasks at our office.
Have an idea or special skill? We welcome your input to enhance our IASAQ Volunteer Program!
What we ask
Volunteering can be as little as a few hours a month – it is flexible, rewarding, and a great way to stay connected to your Irish heritage. No experience or qualifications are needed - just enthusiasm!
We also welcome businesses and professionals who can support our community through admin, IT, leadership roles, or other expertise.
