Founded in Brisbane in 2007, our mission remains the same as on day one; it is to provide support, care and assistance and consideration, where needed for the Irish Australian community in Queensland.
Irish Australians of all backgrounds, faiths and traditions are welcome, without exception. We are against discrimination of any kind.
Throughout the year we will host & sponsor many different events, functions, networking opportunities etc. to bring the Irish Community together both here in Brisbane and wider Queensland
Our main areas of focus are families, the elderly, backpackers, education and the encouragement of its pursuit, new and established migrants and support for people sick or injured & their families. Celebration of the rich & varied contribution of the Irish Diaspora to the emergence and continued development of Queensland. Close links with the embassy in Canberra allow use to provide Passport forms and guidance.

The Irish Australian Support Association of Queensland Inc. Incorporated is a not-for-profit organisation and an income tax exempt charitable entity with deductible gift recipient (DGR) status. Your donations $2 or more, not only make life better for Irish Australians in need, but are also income tax deductible. Donations include bequests, donations of property or money and grants from philanthropic trusts, foundations, individuals and corporations. All Donations are Tax Deductible. The IASAQ Inc is part funded and supported by the Government of Ireland's Emigrant Support Program.
